Young &upcoming designer, Jason Wu, showed his fall 2009 - and with much pressure, though you couldn't tell. After starting his own like just four years ago, lots of celebrities were already wearing his designs. But since Michelle Obama wore one of his gowns to the inaugural ball, then again on the cover of March Vogue, Jason's been on everyone's mind - even Anna Wintour.
The collection is designed tastefully for the twenty-something princesses: super pretty and romantic. And it's very hard to pull romance off at sixteen. Wu has an aesthetic that you don't really see anymore. His line isn't extravagantly priced and is more than wearable, yet has small couture details. He has the ability to dress everyone from prom queen to the first lady herself.
There has been lots of talk over Michelle Obama's fashion sense, have you been paying attention ?

I don't really pay attention to that, but from what I've seen I would say she dresses nice. HA. I really don't know!
ReplyDeleteI like her fashion taste I was watching the news the other day and they were comparing her fashion to JFK's wife. I think her fashion sence is very tasteful.
ReplyDeleteYes on entertainment tonight they talked a lot about how sophisticated her styles where but at the same time they were classy and up to date...unlike the other first ladys who sport a nice suit with a skirt or something in a spring color. She has a young tast and i like her.
ReplyDeletelove that pop of yellow in the outfit.
