late bloomer.

John Galliano took an unexpected light hand to the thought of Spring 2009. And ready to wear is fitting this year because the clothes were, strangely enough, ready to wear.

Galliano's flamboyant side has been toned down by pretty florals and whimsical dresses. But, there was no lack of drama in the hair and make-up department. The permed, sky high wigs bound by baby pink ribboms with the strong cheek almost balanced out the softness of the new spring dresses.

Do you think Galliano will stick with this newly acquired light hand ?

  2. I think maybe he's just trying it out for a while. Like, maybe if it works for him he'll stick with it. If not, he'll probably go back to the more outrageous stuff. I love this picture!

  3. i think that every single designer out there always does the same exact thing every single year. every spring we see florals every fall we see oranges and reds. these designers may think they have a brand-new, cutting-edge, never-before-seen design, but really they all seem to conform to the same idea. they outrageous wig was an interesting touch though.

  4. I think it's more of a "let's see how people react to it and then I will go from there thing." He wants to test how everyone likes it, their comments and critisism then decide what his next big thing will be.
